Our client in the construction and property industry are seeking an experienced Deputy Payroll Manager to join their team on a 15 month FTC basis to cover for maternity leave.
As Deputy Payroll Manager, you will report into the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for four direct reports.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Support the Payroll Manager in leading, managing and developing the team
* Ensuring weekly, monthly payrolls are managed effectively
* Administer benefit plans
* Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations
* Manage and resolve queries
* Supervise and coordinate activities of payroll staff
Experienced required:
* Excellent technical UK payroll knowledge
* Supervisory experience within a payroll function
* CIPP payroll qualification is highly desirable
This role offers flexibility for hybrid working 2-3 days per week in the office.
