Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a large bureau based in central Bury on a contract basis for up to 12 months.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will join an experienced team, responsible for the timely and accurate processing of client’s payrolls. You will look after a portfolio of 60 clients initially, ranging from single directors up to 200 employees over weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles.
* Previous and recent experience within a similar position
* Bureau experience is desirable but not essential
* Up to date knowledge of Payroll Legislation
* Proficient in all payroll procedures, including manual calculations
* Good Pensions knowledge and proficient in Auto Enrolment Regulations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Organised and good attention to detail
* Good systems experience and excellent knowledge with MS Excel
