Our client based in Southampton are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will be office based in Southampton initially, with some flexibility to work from home following completion of training.

You will join a payroll team of 3 responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of the companies multiple monthly UK payrolls totalling around 1000 employees from start to finish. This is a new headcount due to company growth and the Payroll Manager is looking for someone they can work closely with to develop and improve efficiencies as the company grows.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing high volume monthly payrolls from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
