Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a leading public sector organisation in Yorkshire. They are recruiting for a temporary Payroll Analyst to join their team for a period of six months.

Key Duties include:

* Ensure payroll processes and reporting are completed in a timely and accurate manner;
* Make sure all SLA’S are met Communicating effectively;
* Complete payroll processes and reports to set deadlines;
* Monitor and review KPIs;
* Promote new methodologies and encourage continuous improvement for payroll processing methods;
* Build and maintain a working partnership with our Outsourcing partner;
* Work with Service Delivery Manager to review processes and any improvements;
* Support key controls and compliance metrics are meet any escalations that are raised;

Desirable skills and attributes:

* Previously worked as part of a large team
* Ensuring exceptional customer service
* Ability to work to targets and deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
* IT skills in MS and Google applications
* Possess strong knowledge of payroll end to end processes including Real Time Information, P11D and PSA
* A current understanding of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP and SHP
* Experience in using PeopleSoft v9.0 and/or Oracle Cloud HCM systems is advantageous
