Our client is a charity looking for a strong and experienced end to end Payroll professional to join as a Payroll Manager to oversee a small and friendly team. Reporting in to the HR Manager you will be responsible for guidance and development of the team members, processing payroll, as well as providing technical and practical support to the team ensuring that all automated processes run smoothly.
This role would be ideal for someone looking for team management experience and the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of 3
* Hands on with the day to day payroll
* Deal sensitively with employee queries
* One to ones
* Stakeholder meetings
* Co-ordinating the payroll department, as well as overseeing monthly teams tasks
* Run reports and perform audits on pay data input
Requirements
* Hands on Payroll Professional to deal with a manual and complex payroll
* Experience with Timesheets/ T&A
* Excellent knowledge of P11’ds
* 900 on payroll split between bank and monthly.
* Fully competent with all year end activity
* Autoenrollment
* Strategic experience
* ITRENT – Advantageous
* The ability to perform complex manual payroll calculations
* Good working knowledge of current payroll legislation
* The ability to work flexibly according to the changing needs of a busy office
* CIPP Payroll qualification or equivalent (desirable)
