Temporarily Remote

A leading not-for-profit organisation are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Manager to join their Bristol office.

This role has arisen due to a restructure within the team, and will oversee a payroll team of 4 in total with the close support of the Payroll Supervisor.

This position will be temporarily remote due to the pandemic with the view to return to the office, subject to government guidelines.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Overseeing the day to day operations of the payroll team
* Playing an active part in ensuring efficient and timely payroll processing of circa 3000 employees
* Liaising with the 3rd party provider to audit payments and manage ongoing processes
* Driving continuous improvement and steamlining of processes
* Engaging with key stakeholders
* Being hands on with complex calculations
* Dealing with escalated payroll queries

Experience required:

* Experience with processing high volume and complex payrolls
* Excellent experience within a Payroll Manager position
* Strong people management experience
* CIPP qualified
* Experience within the charity sector will be highly desirable
