Portfolio Payroll are recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join a leading public sector body. This large local client are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer on a short term cover basis
Responsibilities:
* Process the end to end payroll on both weekly and monthly basis
* Process new starters and leavers
* Take responsibility for resolving and managing queries
* Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
* Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
* Process auto enrolment and pensions.
Desirable attributes:
* Full in house end to end payroll processing
* Strong customer service skills
* Use of the iTrent system
