Job Summary
We are currently working with our Cheshire-based client to recruit into their payroll Function – working within a larger HR function this is a stand-alone position – based in the heart of Cheshire with free onsite parking this is a fantastic opportunity to work for a great business and strengthen the payroll team. As a payroll officer, you will complete end-to-end payroll across both monthly and weekly payrolls
Key Duties/Tasks:
* Processing end-to-end in-house payrolls.
* Processing of payrolls and pension administration.
* Calculation and application of standard deductions.
* Providing a 1st class service to the business and to colleagues, and dealing with queries via telephone and email.
* Processing pension uploads.
Desirable skills and attributes:
* Previous end-to-end payroll experience.
* Experience liaising with HMRC, RTI, and Pensions administration.
* Customer service driven.
* Confident with Excel.
