We are currently working with our Sheffield based client to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer, this is an end to end payroll processing position working within a small established team of payroll professionals working on monthly payrolls.

Providing comprehensive support within the payroll department, dealing with complex queries as the experienced payroll assistant.

Key Duties/Tasks:

* Providing first class payroll advice and guidance to colleagues
* Processing full end to end payroll across 3 monthly payrolls
* Advising on payroll related matters

Desirable skills and attributes:

* Excellent knowledge of UK Payroll law
* Start to finish processing experience
* Knowledge of SMP/SSP/ SPP and able to process manual calculations
