We are working for a leading organisation who are seeking a Payroll & Pensions administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Role description:
* Support the Payroll Manager in completion of the monthly payroll process of approximately 1000 employees
* Administer pension documents and electronic systems including auto[1]enrolment submissions
* Check monthly timesheets for accuracy and input into the payroll system
* Prepare payroll reports PAYROLL AND PENSIONS ADMINISTRATOR
* Review and monitor the payment of sickness absence and unpaid leave
* Support the Payroll Manager in the auditing of leavers, starters and contract changes
* Complete pension returns and auto-enrolment submissions
* Recording and monitoring of sickness absence and unpaid leave
* Make suggestions for improvements in system development
* Update information and input staff records
* Be able to interpret data and information, make judgements and make suggestions for improvement
* Strong communication skills
* Strong team player
* Strong organisational skills in order to meet tight deadlines
* Previous experience of running employee payroll including having sound knowledge of statutory payments, deductions, court orders, RTI, and gender pay gap reporting; (desirable)
* Experience with payroll packages (desirable).
