We are currently sourcing for a progression role within a well-established Finance team. It will be a key role within a fast-growth organisation whose revenue is growing year-on-year globally! You will be the reporting directly into the Ledger Manager in finance and be the go-to for the Sales Ledger team. This is a key role within the business and supports both finance and the wider business.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to oversee the Sales Ledger Team, processing all income received, management of DD collections, cash reconciliations, contract and adjustment processing and checking

Job Overview

You will be required to oversee the day-to-day team operation, offering support and leading your team by managing their overall performance, ensuring deadlines and goals are met whilst achieving your own set of targets to be able to support your manager.

You will be on hand to solve problems & offer advice. You will have an eye for detail. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to support you in liaising with and building close working relationships with both intercompany colleagues and business partners alike

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Motivating and developing your team, managing their performance through 121s, team meetings, appraisals, effective feedback and recognising high performance and accomplishments
* Managing the team training – identifying areas for individual development/re-training and ensuring the team are engaged with their development
* Providing consistent and timely support to team members on issues & escalations
* Work with the Ledger Manager to identify process improvements and prepare plans for implementation to improve efficiency and effectiveness
* Communicate goals and deadlines to team members and ensure all operations in the team are processed in accordance with documented procedures, controls & KPI’s
* Assist with hiring and training new team members, supporting them through their probationary period
* Team HR requirements ie. lateness, sickness as required
