Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team Duties include; * Process payrolls for staff and pensioners ensuring that tax codes, entitlements, deductions and other adjustments are in line with instructions from HMRC, HR & Development, and other clients. * Ensure that all statutory and voluntary deductions are made correctly and remit monthly payments to the relevant recipient. * Prepare and post payroll summaries to the nominal ledger and reconcile control accounts / loan accounts on a monthly basis. * Update and remit RTI submissions (including FPS and EPS) to HMRC and upload tax code changes. * Reconcile and remit monthly payments to HMRC for income tax, national insurance contributions and any other statutory recoveries. * Produce monthly debit statements, deal with queries from staff, and provide payroll information to HR & Development, HMRC and other government bodiesYou will have; * Previous payroll experience. * Good attention to detail and communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and others. * Strong organisational and administrative skills. * Ability to deliver to set deadlines. * Able to remain calm under pressure. * Honesty, integrity, resilience and professionalism. FTC role 6-month FTC minimum with the look to be extended 1 Payroll * Responsible for the processing of all payrolls in an accurate and timely manner. (2 Payrolls) * Make deductions from payrolls, which includes Pension contributions, season ticket loans, GMB Contributions, Childcare vouchers, Simply Health, Gaye, Court orders, and make the necessary payments to the relevant organisations. * Ensure the processing of all transactions to an agreed timetable. All monthly payroll third party submissions must be made accurately and in line with specific deadlines given. * Responsible for the preparation of monthly payments to the Inland Revenue for Tax and National Insurance contributions and all information submissions / requests, both regular and ad hoc as required. * Preparation of monthly and annual pension contributions schedules to the scheme administrators. * Ensure that the reconciliation of all payroll control accounts is completed in line with the finance department monthly timetable.
