    Portfolio are proud to be exclusively representing our award-wining, multinational HR & Employment Law services client in their search for a HR Team Lead.This person will manage a team of HR Advisors new to the business, as they begin their career with our client and act as a mentor and support new team members in reaching their full potential. To ensure that their clients are receiving high quality solution-based HR and Employment Law Advice. This person will ensure that the team are trained, developed, and motivated to be engaged to a high level to deliver an exceptional service to clients.The role will require you to identify necessary training for HR Advisors, manage their performance and ensure that they maintain a high standard of service provision to both current and prospective clients. Oversee the day-to-day management of the team and also the output of the work. Inspire, motivate and support the team as necessary to maintain strong working relationships and motivate the team to create a positive and fun working environment. The HR Team Lead will also be responsible for: * To build and maintain a cohesive and motivated team, providing leadership and support to colleagues and peers. * To performance manage all consultants, identifying training needs and putting the necessary measures in place to ensure that the training required is provided. * To actively review new and renewed performance aims to achieve compliance and meet and exceed client demand. * To monitor, oversee and direct Advisors activities to ensure that SLA and the clients serviced by your team receive appropriate bespoke service. * To effectively manage all team absences / sickness and ensure that the RTW process (including completion of the form) is adhered too. Following any persistent intermittent absences, your recommendations on how you propose to deal with the matter should be sent to your Manager along with any final draft letters. * To periodically checking individual consultants task lists and the team task list as a whole, re-assigning tasks and highlighting/reporting any issues to the Operations Manager if necessary. * To work in conjunction with Resource Planning to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. * To effectively manage all lateness and ensure that the lateness recording form is completed on all occasions. * To conduct where necessary any formal meetings such as disciplinary and grievance and provide the necessary outcome in line with the Employee Handbook. * To all necessary formal action taken is to be dealt with within a timely manner and to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion and in keeping with company and departmental policies. * To ensure that your Manager is kept up to date with all pending staff issues along with a pending or proposed course of action. * To deal with service issues in a timely manner ensuring that a satisfactory conclusion is reached on all occasions. * To use the appropriate resource to manage any technical queries that are passed through by the team ensuring that the information is sourced,…
