Our client a busy payroll bureau based in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced senior payroll coordinator to join their team. This role will be working amongst a team of 4, taking responsibility for payroll processing for several clients.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

* Responsible for managing own portfolio of clients.
* Assist the payroll team and work towards payroll deadlines.
* Dealing with complex payroll and pension queries.
* Attend client meetings as and when required.
* Completion of tax year end and P11Ds.
* Manual calculations.

Person Specification/ Experience:

* CIPP or equivalent qualified preferred
* Experience processing monthly and weekly client payroll from start to finish.
* Experience with IRIS (Star) would be beneficial although not essential
* A team player equipped for working within a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) enabling effective rapport with customers and colleagues.

Hours: 9am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday – Hybrid working available (2 days office based – 3 days WFH)
