Our client is a leading facilities management company who are seeking a hands on and dynamic Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent, full time basis.
The Payroll Manager will oversee a payroll team of 5 and will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of high volume weekly and monthly payroll. Other duties include processing furlough calculations, preparing journals for submission to finance, producing and submitting all BACS any other external or 3rd party payment files.
This role will be responsible for producing and submitting all HMRC RTI and auto-enrolment pension files and resolution of escalated payroll queries and issues, working with and acting as the main point of contact for all related 3rd parties.
Additionally, the Payroll Manager will research, recommend and lead on new payroll software implementations and will be actively involved in continuous improvement in the department.
This position will be predominately remote, with some travel to the London office for meetings, as well as occasional travel around the UK to meet with clients.
Working hours are 9-5:30 with a 1 hour lunch.
Essential experience includes high volume payroll processing experience and strong team management. Involvement in new payroll software implementations is highly desirable.
