Our client, a manufacturing organisation based in Liverpool are looking to recruit an experienced Sole Payroll Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis. The role will ideally be based in the office full time but the client is also happy to consider hybrid working. The role could also be made permanent although that is not guaranteed.
Responsible for the company’s payroll you will be ultimately responsible for the delivery of multiple UK monthly payrolls totalling 500 employees. The payroll is managed is partially outsourced to a payroll provider. A project is currently underway to bring the payroll back in house and you will be a key member of the team.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate considerable previous experience processing a busy payroll, ideally within a sole role capacity. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
