In this role you take on the responsibility of ensuring payroll customers have a seamless transition from their current payroll provider. They are going through an exciting period of growth, and this is a fantastic opportunity to enter a business near its conception. For this role you ideally have experience onboarding new clients into a bureau or accountancy practice, or at least experience implementing a new system within an in-house setting. The client is looking for someone with manual calculations, end to end and bureau payroll experience. Key Duties/Tasks: * Technical skills: Implementation/onboarding * Building new client relationships * Assist with processing of parallel runs * Ensuring all run results balance with new customers' previous payroll provider * Guide the customer on both service and system features * Remaining clear and concise, always demonstrating excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Payroll Technical Support Specialist who will ensure accurate and timely processing of all Payroll activity for your portfolio of customers.You will be responsible for delivering customer excellence to our payroll clients and liaising with them to resolve any complex Payroll Software Issues. Due to business expansion and a new payroll service, the company requires a technical payroll professional, to come on-board and aid the service, retention, and overall client journey. Key Duties/Tasks: * Ensuring all client software related queries are responded to and resolved, adhering to the BrightHR Payroll SLA. * Lead regular calls with our third-party payroll supplier effectively managing the open case queue. * Act as a point of escalation for the First Line Payroll Advisors on more complex or in-depth issues. * Identify any potential chargeable consultancy work to bring in opportunistic revenue to the Service Team. * Responsible for maintaining Salesforce, ensuring that all customer calls are logged as cases and dealt with against the correct account. * Gathering in-depth and accurate information from the customer and investigating complex technical issues to time and to quality. * Interpreting client behaviour when raising bug tickets so developers have a clear picture on what's happened, in order to identify a potential root cause. * Participating in regular team updates, presenting findings, and reporting departmental statistics when required. * The ability to triage and troubleshoot complex technical payroll tickets, identifying and resolving data upload and aiding client queries relating to technical issues found in product. What you bring to the team: * A minimum of 2 years proven experience of supporting software applications in a HR and/or Payroll environment. * An awareness and understanding of UK payroll legislation (essential). * Knowledge of HMRC reporting requirements for Payroll and associated rules and data validation.
