Exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Pensions Officer to join a market-leading professional services organisation based in Manchester City Centre on a temporary to permanent basis although this is not a guarantee.
Reporting into the Payroll and Pensions manger, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly Payroll and taking responsibility for inputting of accurate pensions information and liaising with the company’s different pension’s providers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate payroll submissions for weekly and monthly employees
* Accurately submissions of employee pension contributions
* Ensuring the business is regularly updated with key tax legislation changes relating to payroll and pensions
* Providing key stakeholders with business relevant information
* Effective management of pay and pensions queries
* Maintaining the confidentiality of payroll data
* Assisting with pensions management both providers and employees
* Building and generating reports to analyse payroll information
Experience Required:
* Previous experience within both Payroll and Pensions
* Up to date technical knowledge of payroll and tax
* Excellent knowledge of Payroll legislation
* Good manual calculations experience
* Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders and providers
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong query resolutions skills in relation to pay and pensions
* Good Excel skills and strong payroll systems knowledge
