A large Shared Service Centre based in Blackburn require an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their payroll team on a temporary to permanent basis although this is not a guarantee.
Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll as volume using bespoke payroll systems. As a Payroll Officer, you will work independently resolving any complex payroll queries and escalating issues to line management where necessary.
* Previous experience processing payroll from start to finish at volume
* Up to date knowledge of Payroll Legislation
* Strong manual calculations experience
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
* Previous experience dealing with NHS Payroll is beneficial, but not essential
* Use of ESR payroll system is highly beneficial
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Immediately available or on short notice
