We are partnered with an organisation in the Insurance industry who are seeking a professional and experienced payroll supervisor to join their supportive payroll team.

Reporting into the Payroll & Benefits Manager, the Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for day to day supervision of the payroll team, alongside hands on processing of high volume payrolls.

Responsibilities include:

* Working closely with and supporting the Payroll Manager with management of the payroll team
* Training, coaching and developing payroll team members
* End to end monthly payroll preparation
* Preparing monthly payroll reconciliations for payments, NI and tax
* Complete monthly pension reporting
* Dealing with queries
* Liaise with HMRC

Experience required:

* Strong UK payroll experience
* Confident with high volume, end to end payroll
* Experience in a similar role, supervising a payroll team
* Excellent leadership skills

This is a permanent, full time role (35 hours per week), offering flexibility to work from home 3 days a week. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, 5% matched pension scheme and cycle to work.
