My client has identified the need for a payroll team leader to join the team function on a permanent basis. We therefore seek an experienced and responsible individual, with enthusiasm and ability to take on new challenges, manage a team and help support the payroll function.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage team and workload to ensure all work is processed in a timely manner
* Training and mentoring of team
* Teams escalated queries
* Manage the upload of Leavers and absences
* Month end reporting
* Ensure all exception reports are checked pre payroll run
* Ensure all variable data has been accurately input
* Ensure that all pre Gross to net checks are performed to a high degree of accuracy
* Approve faster payment calculations from the administrators for payment outside of the normal payroll.
* Ensuring awareness of internal and external audit items that are raised
* Complete pension reconciliations
