Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join their team on a 16-month FTC Maternity Cover basis
Duties include;
* End to end payroll processing and administration for 7 different monthly payrolls.
* Processing payroll including bacs payments through to EPS & FPS.
* Following payroll procedures and completing related forms and returns.
* Maintaining and updating employee records on the payroll system.
* Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries.
* Completing reporting and reconciliations for payroll and pensions.
* Calculation and processing of statutory payments including SMP and SSP.
* Calculation of additional maternity pay and enhanced maternity payments.
* Completion of month end processes, P11ds, P60s.
* Reconciliation to budgets and payment of payroll and pensions
* Benefits Administration
* Dealing with payroll queries
* Assisting the more junior member of the team
You will have;
* Understanding of payroll and other relevant legislation and processes i.e. tax, national insurance.
* Strong payroll processing experience from start to finish processing including EPF & FPS
* Able to complete manual calculations and process SMP payments
* Pensions Administration and reconciliations for payroll and pensions
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Strong payroll systems exposure and Excel
