Our client is seeking an experienced Sole Payroll Specialist to join their team on an interim basis

Duties include;

* Processing all company payroll on a sole basis
* SMP, SSP, TAX, NI calculations
* Dealing with queries
* Checking the information, making sure its correct to send across to the supplier
* Dealing with overtime hours/rates
* Responsible for compiling a monthly payroll for company and Team Members, across the UK
* Develop a strong working relationship with our Third-Party Payroll House
* Entering/extracting data on new starters, pay changes, timesheets and bonuses
* Compiling and reviewing variance reporting
* Prepare and process any Attachments of Earnings
* Work with Payroll House to ensure all year end submissions are fulfilled and in accordance with HMRC deadlines
* Provide Payroll reports for Director of People as and when requested
* Act as primary point of contact for our Team Members who may need support with their payroll queries
* Maintain good working knowledge of Tax Codes and implications on pay for our Team Members
* You’ll have a solid understanding of current tax, payroll and benefits legislation
